Ubisoft to takeover THQ

French publisher UbiSoft, well known for Assassin's Creed, is heard to take over assets of THQ after knowing the bankruptcy earlier this month. The French publisher has shown interest in assets, fully owned studios and franchises of THQ. These includes Studios - Relic Entertainment, Volition, THQ Montreal, and Vigil Games & Saints Row, Red Faction, Homefront, Metro, and Company of Heroes.

Giving some intentions earlier, UbiSoft CEO Yves Guillemot said, "They have good things. We are always interested in good brands. For sure, it's something we can consider, but I can't tell you more." Sources at MCV said that UbiSoft is looking for some bargains with THQ until its forced to sell some of its assets. Once done UbiSoft will be loaded with five studios and will gain the rights to brands such as Saints Row, Company of Heroes, Darksiders, Homefront, Red Faction. Further doors will be open for it to get deals for games based on WWE.

UbiSoft CEO, Yves Guillemot giving no signs of becoming the markets number publisher they will be working alongside with Assassin's Creed, Just Dance, Far Cry, its various Tom Clancy games with an interest in online games and apps.

And guess what the gamers will be more interested and looking ahead for some new definitions in GAME WORLD.
