This year end Santa's new look is of a Soldier. Activision is celebrating Christmas this year with Black Ops 2 being UKs no. 1 Game. Not this, Black Ops 2 is on the top six consecutive weeks giving EA or Activision credit to stand no.1 every Xmas for last decade.(sources: MCV)

Black Ops 2 is the first game of 2012 to have a stand alone run to the top, being every past year the no.1 position was held by different games.The credit goes to retailers too who have faced hard times to drive dealers of gaming market to purchase 'boxed' video games.

Following Black Ops2 Far Cry 3 is listed on number 2 on the chart with 86 percent of hike in sales. The game also have reduced its prices to £22. UbiSoft taking charge of 5th and 7th position with Just Dance 3  and Assassins’s Creed III respectively.

Hitman: Absolution successfully covering 3rd position by cutting cost by half this month, hence increasing sales by one percent, coming to top 3. EA's Fifa 2013 (No. 4) and Need for Speed Most Wanted (No. 6) felt 15% and 27% hike in sales this month.
